Varmex^®

Varmex^® is the name of our fire resistant textile, which is internationally recognized and comply with a large number af European Standards (EN) as well as Boeing and Airbus Norms.

Varmex^® is a series of several end-products where the Varmex^® 2000 series is our most fire resistant. The protection provided by Varmex^® fibres can give the extra time needed to save a life. The material can be exposed to 2000° C shortly before charring.

Varmex^® fibres have multiple applications and are used in all places where people and expensive equipment must be protected against fire, heat, embers, sparks etc. Varmex^® fibres are also one of the components in certain composite plastics, which are used in Formula 1 racing cars, spacecrafts, skis, etc.
